Same old
Art-geek sculptor lacks social skills,
seeks perfection. Fails.
Turns to stone – (haha!)
Makes a ‘woman’ (apparently)
applies the hammer more lovingly
with every stroke
loses interest in everything else;
ever more of a recluse
getting off on something that can’t refuse:
no rebuff, no criticism.
Sacrifices a bull: the classic manipulation
& seals the deal on exclusive control
gets what he wants, and guess what?
She’s dulled by life,
heavy, worn out, becomes
cold to his touch.
